XC Wins 31st State Title

Holmdel, NJ - The XC team took to Holmdel Park for the Non-Public A State Championship on Saturday. The boys put all 7 runners in the top 13 and averaged the 3rd best time in meet history, #7 in course history and #6 in CBA history. The final score was 31-62 over reigning champions and nationally ranked Union Catholic. On the day, CBA was 26 seconds better per man than the next best team and 41 better than 3rd. To top off the stellar team day, Joe Barrett '25 won the individual title and set the CBA sophomore record on the course at 15:43 (#3 in course history for sophomores)

Senior Nick Sullivan and sophomore Joe Barrett led most of the race together. Their savviness to lead helped bring the team to victory. Both finished with big PBs in 15:43 and 15:53. Jack Falkowski '24, Lucas Ward '23 and Zach Shroba '23 finished out our top 5 with 3 PBs.
